The unit features a clamped, domed lid and a conically welded base. The interior is designed for a maximum permissible operating pressure of 2 bar (29 psi) at 133°C (273°F) and for a maximum permissible external pressure of 1 bar vacuum (15 psi FV) at 5/133°C (41/273°F). The minimum design temperature of the metal is 5°C (41°F) at 2 bar (29 psi). The outer stainless steel jacket is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 4 bar (58 psi) at 5°C (41°F) to 152°C (306°F). The unit is equipped with a top-mounted agitator with electric drive/gearbox and a bottom-mounted homogeniser with electric drive. Mounted in a mobile stainless steel frame.
